Ovovia Cable Car

The Abetone Ovovia cable car, which takes visitors up to the ski slopes of the Abetone ski resort, is located just 400 metres from Albergo Sport and can easily be reached on foot in just a few minutes. This is one of the most popular areas of the ski resort and regularly hosts major skiing competitions, including the Women’s European Cup, the Italian Cup, the Massetani Trophy and the famous Pinocchio sugli Sci, dedicated to promising young skiers.

At the Ovovia base station, visitors can rent skis, snowboards, ski boots and all the equipment needed for a day on the snow. Several local ski schools also operate in the area, offering both private and group lessons for skiers of different ages and abilities.

The cable car also provides access to the snow parks within the Abetone ski area and the local cross-country skiing trail.
